“I think being a singer is a lonely job. For like what 3 to 4 minutes? Singers have to practice for years and years to prepare themselves. When you’re actually on stage, you’re only given a couple of minutes to show people what you have practiced for years. You get this feeling of emptiness right after you perform on stage. I think actors and actresses can agree with me. The feeling of emptiness makes you feel really lonely. Even though you want to perform again, you just performed and people already saw it. You can’t go back in time and make any mistakes during the performance right? That’s why I regretted often. The process of preparation itself makes you feel lonely, too.” - Taeyeon
